A Note from the Playwright & Director:
I have always been troubled by the notion that bad things happen to good people, but even more disturbing to me is when good things happen to bad people. What is the level of outrage to watch a beloved friend lose their home to a fire versus watching the worst person you know win the lottery? Both are an injustice, but one seems random, while the other, somehow, seems deliberately unfair. We are raised as children to think that good behavior is rewarded and that bad behavior is punished, and then we grow into a world where these precepts no longer apply. It is with these thoughts in my mind that I wrote Randomness at a Moment in Time.
